Trading During Tournaments
When a tournament is live there are features in place to ensure a good competitive spirit.
You can buy shares in a player right up to the start of their match, and as long as you buy before they enter the pitch (even as a sub), you will be eligible for rewards if they win.
When a player enters the pitch, the game takes a snapshot of who is holding them with an active contract.
If you sell shares after this point, you will not get the rewards if they win.
You can benefit if other holders of the player sell during the tournament, as this would increase the rewards distributed to the remaining holders.
Example
At time of snapshot you have 900 Valverde Shares
You buy 100 more shares after he starts the match -> Total holding = 1000 shares
You sell 50 shares -> No penalty (snapshot remained at 900)
You sell another 100 shares -> Snapshot drops to 850 and will no longer be able to increase back to the 900 original snapshot.
